Payment Policy

Class Fees

Membership fees are collected by Direct Debit (GoCardless) and are divided into 12 equal monthly payments.

 

Your annual membership fee covers 44 weeks of gymnastics sessions per year.  Rather than charging only when sessions take place, the total annual cost is spread evenly across 12 monthly payments to make budgeting easier for families.

 

The club is closed for approximately 8 weeks each year, including seasonal holiday closures and a summer break.

 

Because your 44 training weeks are divided across 12 monthly payments, your regular monthly payment will still be collected during these closure periods. You are not being charged for weeks when the club is closed; instead, the cost of the 44 training weeks has already been spread evenly throughout the year.

 

For example, if the club is closed for part of a month due to a holiday break, your monthly payment will remain the same as every other month.  Fees are paid monthly in advance and, depending on when you join, your first payment may cover up to two months of fees.

Your annual fees include:

•44 weeks of gymnastics sessions

•Independent Gymnastics Association (IGA) membership

•Competition entry fees (where applicable)

 

Any additional costs, such as special events, camps, clothing, competition-related expenses, or other club activities, will be communicated in advance and added to your account where applicable.  Class places can only be guaranteed when payments are up to date. Statements can be viewed through your customer portal.

 

Absence & Refund Policy

Due to the limited number of places available within each class, we are unable to offer refunds, credits, or alternative sessions for missed classes, regardless of the reason for absence.  This policy enables us to maintain small class sizes, high-quality coaching, and the long-term financial stability of the club, ensuring we can continue to provide a safe and positive environment for all gymnasts.

 

Withdrawal Policy

If you wish to withdraw your child from the club, one full calendar month's written notice must be provided.  Notice must be submitted in writing by email.  Membership fees will remain payable throughout the notice period.  

 

Independent Gymnastics Association (IGA).

The cost of IGA membership is included within your monthly fees.  All members of North East London Gymnastics Club are required to hold membership with the IGA.

 

Changes to Fees

NELGC reserves the right to review and amend membership fees when necessary.  Members will be given a minimum of 30 days' notice of any fee changes.
