Gymnastics Coach Opportunities

Join the Coaching Team at NELGC

We are looking for enthusiastic gymnastics coaches to join our growing club. Whether you are an experienced coach or looking to develop your coaching career, we would love to hear from individuals who are passionate about helping children and young people achieve their potential through sport.

​

The role will involve:

• Planning and delivering safe, engaging and progressive gymnastics sessions

• Supporting gymnasts of varying ages and abilities to achieve their goals

• Developing confidence, skills and a love of gymnastics in a positive environment

• Communicating effectively with gymnasts, parents and colleagues

• Working collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive coaching team

We are looking for people who are:

• Positive, enthusiastic and passionate about coaching

• Proactive and able to use their initiative

• Organised, reliable and dependable

• Conscientious with a strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

• Committed to creating an inclusive environment where every gymnast feels welcome, valued and supported

• Respectful of diversity and able to work positively with children, families and colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds

• Keen to develop their knowledge and coaching skills

Relevant coaching qualifications, safeguarding training and an Enhanced DBS are essential.
