In February there was the Gymfusion festival, Guildford. We took a team combined with the Acrobatic squad, Gold team & some of our recreational gymnasts. For many gymnasts this was their first ever festival.

One of our gymnasts was selected to perform at the Night of Stars, in front of huge crowd at Brentwood leisure centre. Gymnasts had to audition for the part and we picked from a huge, talented selection.

For the first time, in September, we entered two gymnasts into the Elite grades. Both boys did the club extremely proud with one gymnast achieving a bronze medal and the other selected to represent London in the National Finals in Birmingham. Both boys are now involved in the regional Elite training program.

In October, we entered 8 gymnasts from our Bronze and Silver squads in to the UKG championships, all competing at Level 7, the club took home 2 bronze medals and 1 silver medal.

In November, the Gold team represented the club in our first ever team gym competition, the gymnasts did amazing and achieved 5th place.

Unfortunately due to a leaking roof in our venue we had to cancel the Christmas show and close the viewing gallery throughout December.  This will be reopened once Hackney has completed the roof repairs.
