Key
Steps Gymnastics Competition
Key
Steps gymnastics is fun, friendly and progressive competition
for beginners. It
is for suitable for any child no previous experience
of gymnastics is required. It has been put together
by English Gymnastics following numerous requests for
a competition framework for “grass roots” development
in Primary Schools. There are 3 disciplines in the Key
Steps program: floor, vault & body management. All
designed to be progressive, challenging and engaging.
With the support of the Schools Sports Partnership
we have been able to offer gymnastics support to Lauriston
Primary, William Patten, Princess May, Horizon, Betty Laward,
Stoke Newington School, Burbage, St Johns the Baptist, Whitmore,
Randal Cremer, Haggerston Girls and Rushmore School over
the last 3 years.
If you would like your school
to have expert gymnastics coaching as part of your PE curriculum
please contact Julia Christie, schools coordinator, for availability
and details: schools@nelgc.org
